Chartwell Online Lunch Order FAQs

The new cafeteria on-line ordering is going well.  With any new system there are always questions that pop up.  Please contact the school with your questions, we certainly want to work with families and Chartwell cafeteria services to ensure that the transition is smooth, and wrinkles are ironed out.

 

1. I already had money on a meal card, can I still order on-line?

There is no interface between the cafeteria meal card account and the online ordering system.  Any funds on file via a meal card should be used first by ordering directly with the cafeteria.  Funds remaining on the meal card or the online account at the end of the school year are forfeited, and not carried-over to the next school year.

 

2. I made an online order and now my student will be absent that school day.

By you need to cancel the online lunch order by 7:45am so that you receive a credit to your account to use towards another day.

 

3. Can my student still pay with cash or have a meal card?

Yes.  Students are welcome to still pay on a day to day basis or place funds on account directly with the cafeteria via a meal card.  Meal cards are charged only when the student purchases items.

Please note:

- Only one Hot item and Soup & Sandwich will be offered each day.  There will be one dessert choice each day.

 

- Emergency lunches will consist of the main item, milk and fruit will be available through the Breakfast/Snack program.  Families will be asked to contribute to the cost of their student's emergency lunches (simply pay what you can - no student will be denied a lunch).
